The opposition BNP will hold a ‘youth rally’ in the capital on Monday as part of their ongoing anti-government movement to realise their demands.

Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, youth wing of the BNP will organise the rally scheduled to be held in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office. The rally will start at 2:00pm.

Jubo Dal president Sultan Salahuddin Tuku will chair the event while BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will speak as the chief guest.

BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy will attend as special guests.

Meanwhile, ‘Anti-fascism Students’ Unity led by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, associate student wing of the BNP also will hold a view exchange meeting with students and guardians in the capital on October 15.

In phases, the view exchange programmes also will be held in divisional cities including in Rajshahi, Chattogram and Sylhet.

Chhatra Dal general secretary Saif Muhammad Jewel announced the programme at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Sunday. Chhatra Dal acting president Rashed Iqbal Khan chaired the event.
